Premiere Tents and Events was founded in 1996 as a full service tent and event rental company. PTE was combined with Word of Mouth Catering and Austin Tents to form Littlefield Hospitality, a division of the Austin based, publicly traded Littlefield Corporation. Word of Mouth independent from Littlefield in 2008, and is once again operating as a separate and independent catering provider. On March 31, 2009, Premiere Tents and Events tenting and party rental operations were purchased by Austin Party Central. On August 5th, Austin Party Central was rebranded as Premiere Party Central to reflect the relationship between the two companies and in the interest of future planned growth and expansion beyond the Austin market.
